RVC has built in academic supports to meet a range of learning needs. Students will be placed in their grade-level appropriate courses and participate in initial pre-assessments to identify which supports may be appropriate to them. If needed, students may be assigned tutorial online programs and/or can meet with their RUSD teacher to receive additional practice to master standards.

Rocklin Unified will utilize personnel to assist with academic, career, and social-emotional needs as they arise for students enrolled in RVC.
Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Placement decisions in independent study (RVC) for students with IEPs (Individualized Education Plans) will be made on an individual basis through the IEP process.
English Learners
English Learners
RVC is available for English Learners; however, RVC may not be the most appropriate placement for practicing English Language Development listening and speaking skills. Placement decisions for English Learner students will be made on an individual basis.
